I get the feeling it will not be coming out at this time. I believe if it was to be forthcoming they would have had it ready for the AES show and it was not...?

While at AES, Cakewalk's Dan Gonzales told me X4 would be out "by the end of the year". Depending on what gotchas happen at the tail end of the development and release cycle...that could still be a pretty squishy target...but at least that was his expectation.

I'm all for them ironing out the gotcha's , I don't mind if its later this year or early next year.
But a nice teaser would be cool even some cover art , whatever , get me excited with some anticipation.

Seems like we are generating one X4 thread a week here so I suspect another 21 threads to go :) There was an unofficial teaser a month or so ago but I'm not at liberty to say!!!

Good to hear that is coming this year. I remember hearing that not too long ago, but without showing it at AES, I had been thinking it got delayed farther...

Yes, I had one last night. I got the impression they were maybe sounding out the idea of a subscription model for updates.
