  • [Solved] How do I Reduce Mod Wheel Values?

In Sonar X3e I have a Kontakt violin part that was recorded with the Mod Wheel too hot.  The Mod wheel in this case controls volume.  I would like to reduce the values to bring down the volume (not thin mod wheel data) without having to go in and change each one individually. How can I do that?

Thanks for any help.

Right-Click on the midi track on the strip where the events are. You will see Process Effect. Place your cursor there and you will see Audio and Midi Effects. Place your cursor on Midi Effects and you will see all of the editors available to edit the midi data. Choose Event Filter and set the Controller to the number you want to edit. Mod is #1. Then you can set the Minimum and Maximum settings until you find the right setting for you. Just use undo and try again until you get it tweaked out.

Sorry, I missed a step. When you place your cursor on Midi Effects you will see Cakewalk FX. The editors are in there.
