I am trying to use region efx on a track, but the region efx option is not appearing on the right click menu? It is nto even greyed out, simply not there. Sonar X3c.
 
Any ideas?

Oh, and the Region Effects Drop down box (next to the Midi and Clips drop downs) on the top of the Track pane also does not drop down or do anything.

To get to region effects I select an area in the timeline (right click and drag on the timeline) and select region effects from the dropdown menu just above and to the left side of the timeline.

Hmmm. the Melodyne instructions simply say to right click the clip and select region effects? In the screen shot it shows it as above the Groove Looping tool, in the right click context menu. I am not sure "Time-Line" has anything to do with it.

Maybe the VST3 version of Melodyne is not installed. Is Melodyne listed in the VST3 Celemony folder in the any FX plug-in list?

No I am using the VST2 version (I think) thing is even if not using Melodyne, the Region FX still does not appear (nor is the drop down box in Track pane available either).
And that's even with a fresh reboot of Sonar using the Normal template....same even after a PC shutdown as well. Seems like something is broken??? Believe it or not I have never used Region FX before...but thought I would try it (and Melodyne) for the first time this morning.

There are no Region FX plug-in installed. The only plug-ins which will show up in Region FX are V-Vocal from a previous version of Producer and the VST3 version of Melodyne.

I just did a modify of the install and when installing the VST 3 version I get the message plugin caused an error and that is "Call initProc" and then it is recommended to disable it.

hmmm, maybe not...I will check. Nope, definitely X3 c...I will install the update and check it again.
