Yeah - it's whatever works to import and playback the video in Sonar, then export the audio and import it into whatever 'real' video editing software the client uses. The imported video in Sonar is only there to line up the audio with the eventual video later, outside of Sonar, so as long as you can have things line up properly, and you can see the video on playback in Sonar, you should be fine.
