A Waves tech did a little house keeping with my folders to take care of some conflicts. Afterwards I realized Melodyne is no longer VST3 or Region effects. I can still use Melodyne as a regular VST. I get this error message when scanning folders in the plug-in manager. Thanks.

The image covered up some of my text. I'm not sure how that happened.

The VST3 of Melodyne is used for Region FX. Whatever Wave repairs were performed appear to have broken Melodyne. Maybe running the Melodyne repair option from the Windows Control Panel will fix it. Otherwise Waves support has just moved the ticket over to Celemony support.

Run the melodyne installer again and just tick the vst3 box, and install, worked for me when I had a similar issue.

Did you try rescan for plugins?

So I've rescanned and ran the Melodyne installer and no love there. I have some other issues as well. When I play a project I get no sound or meter movement on audio tracks or busses. Some projects won't play at all i.e. no time line movement.

Brilliant! I don't know how that got set to 'none' but it did. Thanks.

I don't know if you got the melodyne issue solved, VST3 does not have a default directory in Sonar, you have to find the VST3 folder (sorry, I'm away from my DAW right now ,otherwise I'd tell you where melodyne defaults to) and add that to the scan list for VSTs in preferences.
