Agreed, fantastic forum and community.  One thing that's nice is that everyone (for the most part) stays positive. . . you don't see threads devolving into personal attacks like you do in other forums. 

As simplistic as this may sound, I think that has a lot to do with the fact that people who use Sonar aren't insecure. They think for themselves, and have chosen Sonar because they feel it suits their needs best, not because of peer pressure.
 
So, this is a no-nonsense forum frequented by no-nonsense people who want to solve problems or help others. Time spent doing anything else takes time away from making music 

+1 to our users.  I have been helped every time I have asked a question.  So, a tip of the hat and a quick shuffle around the dance floor to the Cakewalk forum members.
 
And my avatar doppelganger will be back in 2016. 

Agreed - this forum is leagues above most others, which is a compelling reason to choose Sonar over competitors.  It would be great if Cakewalk could leverage the quality of this forum as a selling point.

I seem to remember someone from CW chiming in with the Billy condolences and saying that he had worked with Cake on getting a number of technical issues ironed out. Sounds like he really cared about the program and everyone who used it.

Coming from you Craig I am flabbergasted. That truly means a lot. 
 
The thread explains everything. What is so humbling is the complete support from this forum. I still get a little emotional just thinking about it.

I've edited a zillion authors in my life, but that's one of the very, very, very few pieces of writing I've encountered where I would not have changed a single word.
