Using X3 producer.
I'm having a problem converting some audio drum tracks (kick and snare) to midi tracks using melodyne.
I have done this many times in the past and not had a problem until now on this particular project.

Everything goes well with the conversion but when I play back the track or visually compare the audio track to the midi
track they both start exactly on the beat,  but the midi gradually gets ahead of the audio. It seems like the midi is at a slightly faster tempo than the audio.

Any ideas? I wonder if maybe something with audiosnap is doing this?

Yes, if you using audio snap on a clip, bounce to clip first, then try to convert it with Melodyne. In other words, process the audiosnap to the clip and then convert it with melodyne.

Thanks. AudioSnap was indeed the problem. Surprisingly it wasn't on the drum tracks, though. It was on my recorded audio metronome track. I used AudioSnap on the recorded audio metronome track to set the project tempo.

AudioSnap set the project tempo to 111.66 but I bet melodyne only uses the whole number portion and not the fraction.
I disabled AudioSnap and manually typed in 112 for the tempo, copied the audio tracks to midi tracks and everything lines up perfectly.
Problem solved. Now I can get back to mixing.
