I received some Pro Tools tracks that were converted to PC WAV files.

They play fine in Windows Media Player, but when I try to import into Sonar, the progress bar moves just fine, but no sound clip shows up in the track.

Any ideas?

Ah - turns out they're 24-bit files.

Drat.

That shouldn't be a problem. I've imported 24 bit, and 32 bit wav files without a problem.

They imported into Adobe Soundbooth just fine, too.

Why not Sonar?

I'm sorry, CJ, what do you mean by "import properties"?

(Maybe we've touched on something!) :)

Everybody knows Soanr is ROCK SOLID. He's trying to import into Sonar.

Look in you manual under importing properties. I cant type the manual for you, but i can tell you where to look. The manual is your friend for these kind of things. It is what it says. Its importing properties. Its the way sonar reacts to imports.

Thanks - I had gone into HELP and searched for "import properties", but nothing came up.

I'll check the physical manual.
