Keep in mind, X3 was seen at Sweetwater online before its release, and we just took it as prep. It was nice to see, but hey. I just view that as a much more sophisticated way to drop hints (if that
were the intent) than Apple's horribly failed attempt to have us believe one of their people left an unreleased iPhone prototype in a bar...
I look at the way things are going with CW differently than we did when X2b was released. We saw that, then, for months and months, nothing. I still have a bad taste in my mouth of how X2 was abandoned, IMO, but I can honestly say, when the next version comes out, we'll get it, and run its course the way we did with X3. For CW, the updates and communications were far better.
And when the Apple acquisition is complete, we can take their lead and leave a sealed boxed copy of X6 at the BlueBird Cafe', or on a background table in the next season of Nashville (or have a copy running in the background at the studio the Nashville actors are tracking). HMMM.....
