I downloaded a midi drum track from the web. It work fine in TTS-1 & session drummer 3. TTS! has no drum label on the keys but session drummer does.  However my question is; I would like to use addictive drums, and the mapping is different and there are no labels. Can I somehow import or change addictive drum mapping and labels to session 3 as that is how the midi program I downloads seems to work. Also, is TTS-1 * session 3 a more standard mapping? just curious as to why my midi track seems to work, or maybe I was really lucky.

There are two solutions for using General MIDI drum loops in Addictive Drums. Use a SONAR drum map or configure Addictive Drums for GM use. Note names are always displayed in the Drum Grid Pane when using drum maps. The note names for GM drums can be displayed in the Note Pane by right-clicking on the keyboard and selecting them from the "Use these Note Names Instead" drop down in the Note Names dialog. Some synths like Session Drummer automatically display note names in the Note pane because they support a specific VST function. Not all vendors support the feature in their synths.

I do not have Addictive Drums 2 so the follow is AD1 specific. If you are using AD2, the process is similar.

A drum map is here http://forum.cakewalk.com...nk-fixed-m2899224.aspx

To set Addctive Drums to play GM. Click the Beats button in the upper right, then the "Map Window" in the bottom right of the Beats screen, then select GM from the Map Preset drop down in the upper left of the Map Window.

I do hope in the next edition or upgrade they include the AD2 midi map in the drop down menu and make it so much easier.

Once a drum map is created, it can be saved as a preset. The drum map presets are show in the drop down.

I might be mistaken but I think there are a few standard drum maps already available as part of AD2?  If so, I am sure there is a GMIDI map already there. As mentioned by Scook.
