I'm actually more interested hearing about people's troubles and how it might affect my use of the same/similar software, rather than lame replies that really offer no help at all and prevent me from further reading in the thread.
Yeah...sometimes software does charge the emotions, when it really shouldn't at all. But it can be frustrating, especially for those that don't use it extensively enough to really get into the depths of it and what it can really do....usually because of time restraints or slower than desired learning curves.
There are plenty of people who come here frustrated, which includes both newbies and long-time users. And invariably, the community rises to the occasion and more often than not, solves a problem, offers a workaround, or at least sympathizes.
But in this case...seriously...we've seen this kind of person before. They come in, don't ask for help, are rude, non-specific, throw in a line about their vast experience with software, plug some other program, and don't come back. It's almost a formula. And any effort the community spends trying to help that person, who never comes back to follow any of the advice,
ends up wasting some very good and kind people's time. Now, I don't claim to be able to sniff these people out with 100% accuracy, but I'm pretty sure that's the archetype we're dealing with here. As I said before, he/she/it/they didn't come here to ask for help, or provide any meaningful information that would allow for giving any help. Nor was there any interest in dialog, or we would be having a dialog.
I don't care how frustrated someone is, making a grand entrance into a forum by using your first three words to call the subject of the forum a "Piece of Sh*t" is extremely rude and not the kind of person with whom I would like to interact. He's all yours...if he comes back.
