I did patch after and rescan and reset my VSTs. I performed the install directly without uninstalling anything.
- Smooth - The new EQ with analyzer alone is worth the price of admission. This was the one item I've been needing more then anything else and will improve my workflow a lot because now I don't have to throw in Voxengo Span on to each track to see where it's sitting in the mix.
- Had to redo my plugin organization, but that only took about 15 minutes. I noticed some improvements in the manager.
- Addictive Drums is, well addictive, the workflow is really fast and intuitive and I was able to create some original great sounding loops within minutes of first using it. I doubt it will replace my Arturia Spark, which is just straight fun to play on, but it will certainly add to my arsenal of sounds
- Templates and projects all work and open as expected (I have a template I always use for all my projects).
- The interface just seems smoother. Like some attention was paid to making sure things just feel good when editing, but maybe this is just placebo because of the UI visual improvements.
- The PC2A seems to be missing from my Pro channels, which I had before. I did not purchase the update to the CA-2A.
- Experienced random drop outs BUT, I've always experienced random drop outs. Even when not even playing I'll get audio engine stop errors. This was the same as X2. I still need to play with my settings more for this. It's an annoyance, but it's rare enough can still work on songs, so I'm not dead in the water. Gonna try the core park trick, intel speed step disable, and make sure my intel mb drivers are all up to date to attempt to fix tonight.
Overall, I still have a little more things to setup, but I'm a happy camper and recommend the update to anyone waiting on the fence like I was after all this time.
