Hi folks. Should be an easy one here. I want to create a simple stereo track, with one channel e.g. left, only having a click and the right having a backing track audio. How do I do this in Sonar X3 so that the finished track will only have click on one side and my audio on the other?

Insert two mono tracks, click on one pan that fully left. Audio on second pan that fully right. Then bounce to stereo track.

You'll have to loop the metronome back to an input if you want to use that as the click track.

The metronome will be included in export if you set it to sound on playback and change it's output to the master buss. It's default is normally directly to your interface outputs. 
And busses have pan controls so you can pan the metronome as well. 
If there is no metronome buss in your buss pane, then insert a new buss, call it metronome, then go to the metronome dialog and point it at the new buss. 
There is no need to bounce the tracks first, just pan them and export. 

Thanks johnnyV, I didn't want to use the metronome. I used a percussion sound from Dimension Pro. A cowbell actually, just lined it up to beat of the audio track then copy and pasted it through the song!
