Help please cant record addictive drums!!!

Hello all:
I am new to x3 producer and the whole computer base recording. I am trying to record a preset from addictive drums. I got as far as assigning individual tracks for each input get sound but nothing records. What am I missing????

SONAR does not record the audio output of a synth (including Addictive Drums) directly. Drag the MIDI sequence to the MIDI or instrument track associated with Addictive Drums.

Hello scook: thanks for the response. As I stated I am REALLY new to this platform. Know how to do that. What are the steps. This is what I have been able to do so far. Is this not right. link attached. Thanks for the help.

Tutorial #4 in the Help > Getting Started section is the place I usually recommend to get acquainted with how SONAR works with soft synths.
