I downloaded the universal 120 expansion pack. However, there are samples missing and even patches. I have the 64 bit version of Rapture installed. When you get this Rapture expansion pack it is packed with one exe for windows setup. No instructions or anything in the zip file. I have sent a message to the expansion pack developer hoping that this will be fixed. However, this is really piss poor.

I will let you guys now what happens and how to resolve this if it happens to you. Hopefully, this hasn't happened to anyone else.

OK, I resolved this. In the beginning there are three check box items. One is Rapture, 2nd is Rapture LE, and the 3rd is Universal 120 v2. My thought is that these were trial versions of Rapture so I didn't put a check bar next to rapture or rapture LE. You must choose the applicable program. I extracted the exe and choose Rapture and Universal 120 v2. Of course that worked. I don't want anyone to see negativity on this especially since the sounds are nice and the guys responded really quickly.

Well that's discouraging to hear, that pack was on my "moderately interested" list, currently there are other things I'd rather spend money on music wise though.

Ouch.  Sorry to hear that you're having trouble.  I didn't get involved in the v2 installers (or the v2 content, for that matter), but I'll make sure that you get your issues resolved.  Quick question: Did you purchase the Expansion Pack from the Cakewalk store, or directly from the FiSound web site?

I have the 64 bit version of Rapture installed.

Version 1.2.0 or greater?

Hi doriginal,

Are you using the full version of Rapture or Rapture LE?  During the installation it will ask you which version of Rapture you want to install for.

The Universal 120 v2.0 installer will search Rapture's registry for your specified Multisample path where you installed Rapture, then it will install all of the Multisample content to this location.

By default this location is:

C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Rapture\Multisamples\

Depending if you have the 32bit or 64bit version install it will install to these locations:

(32bit version of Rapture)
C:\Program Files (x86)\Cakewalk\Rapture\Multisamples\Universal 120

(64bit version of Rapture)
C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Rapture\Multisamples\Universal 120

It sounds like the multisamples installed to the incorrect 32bit/64bit install locations for you.

The installer should automatically refresh Rapture's program browser.  If not press F5 on your Rapture Program browser and all of the new programs will show up.

Please let us know if you have any other questions.

Ah, I figured it out. It is user error. I only clicked the portion that says 120 v2.0. I thought the rapture portion and LE were trials. It was actually telling me if I wanted to install to either of those. Sounds are incredible and you guys responded very quickly. Especially since it is the weekend.

It's great to hear you got it all sorted out!  Make sure to come back with some tracks that you've made with the new sounds.

I recently purchased from the developer and after initial installation I none of the LFOs, EGs or SGs where installed.  For anyone planning to install this on the new (v2) Rapture Pro, you need to use a 2-step process.  Run the "Rapture Installer" first, then run the "Rapture Pro Installer."

In short, merely installing the pro version is not enough.  The two installer files are very similarly named, but they exist in separate folders.

Hi ricoskyl,

I just PMed you the Rapture Pro installers for U120 V2.  You'll be all set if you have to re-install.

Cheers!
