Do a tip, blog, SOS piece, tutorial or whatever or on BiFilter2 :)
I remember you said you hadn't really explored it yet and I think that's a shame because it is a GREAT sounding plug with not only some really good sounding filters but great distortion too. I just had a play with it in combination with the Analyst DX plugin that you mentioned and that opened some great new avenues to explore. I really think you would do yourself (and by extension, us) a favor if you spent some time with it!

Just a thought :)

Sure...I take requests! Just don't ask me to play "You Light Up My Life."

Meanwhile, maybe some other Sonarians would like to chime in on how they use it. I changed the thread title to maybe help draw more people in.

I have only used it a few times, on guitar I think. But the sound of the distortion was good. I do remember that. And what it did do I was really surprised. I was expecting a decimate'er type thing. But it wasn't that at all. It added a good useable character to the sound.

I really like the distortion options included!!  The tube option is excellent which I've used by stand-alone.  I have used the filter with automation to get some interesting sounds.  So far I've used it mainly with synths but plan on using the distortion much more.  I plan on making a effect chain with it, so I can use it in the pro-channel.  I just did this for the TL-64 Tube Leveler.  I need to compare the two to see which one I like best.

I like the tube distortion too. I also quite like the "analog" filter type which has its own distortion. And I really liked the trick of reassigning the DX Analyzer plugin automation envelopes to the filter cutoff.
The HPF is very cool too, and so is the bitcrusher. I've used it mainly on mixes or loops so far.
