There should have been software for your interface that installed a control application for ASIO. Sonar calls that application to open it up. You may be able to find it in Windows' Control Panel.
Thanks, Craig.
The interface does have a mixer app. I haven't looked at it since I originally set it up years ago. The interface (PCI card) was installed and working before I installed X3. It's quite old and did not come with ASIO drivers and as far as I know ASIO drivers were never released for it (I checked the website a couple of times), so I used WDM. But after X3 was installed I suddenly had ASIO drivers. I did not make this choice manually, but I have stayed with it because everybody seems to think it's a better way to go. I'll check out the driver app tomorrow.

Just out of curiosity, have you tried clicking on the ASIO button a second time? Not a double-click, just two individual clicks. For whatever reason this is something I've always had to do with my Scarlett 18i6 though others don't seem to get this behavior.
Steve - Strangely, I have tried that, but it didn't make any difference.
