New to X3, (from X2), and yes, I'm finally getting around to trying out screen sets.  I've read what I can find but nothing on this specific problem.

I have set up a Screen Set that has a synth, (Superior Drummer) and the associated midi tracks in the TV on the left monitor.  The Multidock is on the right monitor which has the synth GUI and a PR view for midi editing, set up with the drum map etc.  Lock the Screen Set.  So far so good.  I find that in changing to a different screen set and then going back again my PR view reverts back the default with no drum map showing.  Is this standard behavior or a bug?  I looked through Alex's lists but didn't see it mentioned.  It's not a game changer but if I'm doing something wrong, I can fix that.

TIA for any information.

Have you changed the focus of the MIDI drum track to some other track?

Thanks John.  No, just trying to set up the Screen Set.  Nothing in the midi tracks except dummy place keepers.

That may be the reason. I don't know this as fact though. Try using the screen set in a populated project. One with MIDI tracks with data in them.

That's what the place keepers are, two measure midi clips with a few notes in them.  All midi tracks are set to output through the drum map, (to the synth), so that can't be it.

Thanks.

Thanks Alex.  I seem to remember there being a problem like this at least back several versions.  I didn't file a bug report but I thought someone from Cake told me they'd look into it.  Apparently didn't happen.  Not the end of the world but it sure seems it would have come up before now.  I'm finding other goodies as I get into X3.  I'll post them elsewhere.
