I have read way to many posts and ASIO4all was the root of the problem. Is anyone actually using it with any success?  Might have been 10 years ago.. And what Alex is saying is why it's a bugaboo, Once installed it's real hard to get rid of it. This is what I'm sayin'

It's not hard to get rid of it at all, but you do need to "uninstall" it instead of simply selecting a different driver. It can interfere with other, proper ASIO drivers if left on the system, even unused.

My personal success with it was based on a need - mind you, not in a professional environment at the time. I try to think of it as just another tool in the kit, like so many other apps and plugs!
