Hi is there anyone out there that has successfully installed B4 II with X3?  If so please tell me how to do it.  Thanks!
 

You mean the Native Instruments product? I'm pretty sure it isn't sold or supported anymore. The Vintage Organs "replacement" product works fine though, and so does GSi's VB3.

Yes TY Sander, I like the plug in and would like to still use it...But I am glad to hear there is an alternative.  I have heard that people who are happy with the B4 II still prefer it over Vintage Organs...But I must confess I haven't checked out Vintage Organs yet, but I do love the B4II.
 

I have the B4 on my system and I just installed X3.  I haven't tried it yet but I'm pretty sure if X3 scans the dll it should work fine with BitBridge, (assuming you're using 64 bit Sonar).
 

 

B4II works fine in X3.  Bitbridge will automatically bridge the 32 bit B4II to a 64 bit machine if you are using 64 bit.  There should be no problems with a 32 bit system.

I have both B4II and Vintage Organs and I prefer the B4II for a B3/Leslie sound because there is a lot more control over the sounds in B4II.  Vintage Organs has a few other organ sounds but I never use them.

If you can't use B4II, get the VB3 man. I've used both quite a bit and VB3 is the hands down winner to my ears. Only €50.00 ($66.40). I'm very happy with it!

B4 II working fine on my 64 bit X3 rig on Windows 8.1.
 
How to do it - just run the installer and make sure the VST dll is in a folder in the Sonar's plug in manager scans.
 
Bitbridge will automatically bridge it without intervention from you.
 
I like Vintage Organs, I don't think there is that much between them unless you want VO's transistor organs. For the best Leslie emulation on both use the DI settings and route it through XILS Labs LX122 or Melda's MVintageRotary. Both are very good but the Melda product has better distortion IMHO where LX122 has better microphone and room options.

I have the original B4 running in Windows 8 with X3. I had no problems at all installing. I have moved over to VB3 because I prefer the 64 bit so I'm avoiding BitBridge, and also there are some features in VB3 audio wise that you don't have in B4 or B4II. Check out the list of different leslie cabs, rotary stop that is controlled in realtime with the mod wheel, etc. The only downside is there is no standalone version of VB3. It is only vsti. I stopped using the 32 bit version of Sonar back when 8.5 came out. I still have it installed for those old projects that come creeping back for a re-mix or whatever. I have had a few of the 32 bit plugs just refuse to work at all with BitBridge. Most people that encounter problems advise an alternate bridging program that I temporarily have forgotten it's name.
As soon as it was possible I replaced my goto plugins with the 64 bit versions. Nowadays, everything in my projects are 64 bit.
VB3 is very affordable and you get both 32 and 64 bit downloads from the GSI website. The developer sends you one code that will register both versions of the plugin. The developer is a very nice guy that gives great support. I had some issues with the installation of the 32 bit version. I e-mailed him and in a matter of hours he responded. He was able to nurse me thru the problem with e-mails in a matter of moments and I was good to go.
