If they continue the 1 year cycle, as they have lately, then X4 may make it this year.
However, if you see an X3f then there most likely will not be an X4 this year. But

i have just had a reply deleted which referenced a Sonar X4 screenshot that was posted as part of Cakewalks blog post 'sync audio and your daw'. The blog post itself has been removed also.
