Can someone help me with what might be going on. I've been working fairly well since a reinstall of Sonar Platinum but now I'm getting a crash every time I open a certain project causing the fault reporter to kick in.  I took a picture of the error notice but know how to post a picture here...but basically its says..

A fatal error has occurred in plugin (looks like Japanese letters)

I'd appreciate any advice.

It may be plug-in related. Try opening the projects in safe mode. This will make it possible to skip some or all of the plug-ins. To invoke safe mode, hold the SHIFT key while opening a project. Sometimes, it is enough to invoke safe mode and allow the project to load all plug-ins.

Thanks scook!!  Using your suggestion I was able to load each plug-in one at a time and discovered it was the RealStrat plugin.  So was able to delete the instrument and reload a new version of it...seems to be ok now..  Interesting that this hasn't happened in the song files I'm currently working using the same instrument.
