I want to thank Dean Capper, Cakewalk Tech Support Specialist, for being one of the most helpful and patient tech support specialists that I've ever dealt with. He could have easily said, "this is not our issue, it is a Line 6 issue," but did not. He stuck with me and helped me figure my problem out (after Line 6 was of no help). Somehow, another program had taken control of my UX8 and would not allow Sonar to dictate the sampling rate nor would it allow me to change it manually. To make things worse, we had no idea which program was doing this. Anyway this was a very strange problem that started happening recently after using the card without issues for years and although everything was set up properly in Sonar and the UX8 control panel, there was a setting within the Windows control panel that had a "mysterious" tab that would appear and disappear randomly, which made the problem even harder to figure out. My issues are now resolved, I no longer have to buy another interface thanks to Dean! Dean, you're an asset to Cakewalk and a blessing to users like me. Thank you!!!!
