I found that using the Process*Length feature sorta does what I want.  The timbre, however, is affected. I didn't try  the Formant adjustment tool. I need to do some more experimenting but so far it seems Melodyne might be a little better for what I was trying to do ... again the timbre issue is raised.

First let me say thanks ... but ... sorry I am not sure what it is you've fixed?  Did you fix the clip I mentioned in another post or was it something to do with my wanting to incorporate a  ritarando in  a piece!
