 Hello All ! :D

Do you guys know some SIMPLE and ACURATE plugin able to convert a stereo freq range to mono ?
In my case, i'd like to : Convert 0hz to 150hz from stereo to mono
So i can move the boomy part of a track to center.

I heard " Brainworx BX Saturator " can do that via a slider on a " Mono Maker " button, but -if possible- i'd like something more straightforward and simple without all those settings around the " mono maker ".

Thanks in advance for your help ! ;)

Well, you could copy/clone the track, add an EQ to that track with a steep slope above 150 Hz, bounce that to another track(s), selecting the Split Mono preset. Then delete one of the resulting mono tracks.
You might then want to add an EQ to the original with the slope below 150 Hz.
There's probably an easier way.

Thanks for the tip, but indeed there's probably a plugin for that.
Since Brainworx BX Saturator does it, some other plugins should also do the job.

Could use the LP EQ in Mid/Side mode. Here is a video showing FabFilter Pro-Q. The process is the similar in LP EQ.

Start at 1:53.

Another plug-in to try is GMonoBass

Here's a less-expensive solution if you don't have Pro-Q: https://www.bozdigitallabs.com/product/mongoose/

I only used the Pro-Q video because it shows the process. The same thing can be done using the bundled LP EQ in SONAR Platinum/Professional.

There are a variety of plugs that do this

Monofilter $24.36 with code GROUP at JRR

Scheps Omni Channel

or dupe the track, cut the high frequencies on one of them and pan to mono.
then cut the low end of the other track and mix as desired.
