I have personally used waves F6 and Waves RS56 for this type of application. Lots of their plugins do Mid-Side processing. H-EQ and Scheps plugins do this as well. Simply place an EQ with Mid-Side processing on the track you wish to affect and reduce that frequency range in the sides. Most Waves plugins are $29 bucks at some point. You can demo first.
