Hi. It's been happening for some time, more or less since Gibson left us. We all have the same or mine is a unique problem?

I'm sure nothing was done to the software on your computer after Gibson left - it sounds like you have an issue that is probably not unique - just a little individual!
 
Can you describe what you mean when you say your effects don't work?

There really no way to answer your question as you give zero information. We can fix your problem but please first tell us what your set up is. For all I know your using Pro Tools, an apple computer and a stomp box. 

Thanks for the answers. I do not understand what happens, it seems that the good functioning is intermittent. From what they say, I'm probably doing something wrong.

There is a global effects bypass. Maybe it's getting toggled. Pressing E or
 
 Do one of the following:

In the Control Bar’s Mix module, click the Bypass all Effects button .


Press E.

All FX Racks in the active project are temporarily bypassed. To restore the bins to their original state, click the Bypass all Effects button again.
