Hello,

I'm trying to create a podcast but am having some technical difficulties. I understand the basics of making a recording but want to step it up a notch. I want to be able to add sound clips (e.g. Buzzer sounds, gong sounds, random quotes) live while recording. Looking to just simply press the play button on the sound clips to add them to the show live. I don't want to add them in during my editing phase. Can music creator 7 do this for me and if so how? Or if someone can point me in the right direction that would be great and very much appreciated. I've been trying to search google but I don't know the right terminology to find the answers.

Thanks for the help!

I do podcasts and I add sfx at the editing stage.
You could possibly use midi to trigger samples but by the time you have programmed them all in, you may as well just have added them at the editing stage.

If you want to add the FX in real time you need some kind of a small MIDI controller and use a sample player, sampler or soft synths.
