I would advise
 
change the position of your strumming...or picking.
 
closer to the bridge will yield alternate spheres
 
over the hole, well, we all know that gig.
 
towards the transverse, the twelfth fret and beyond, will yield a multitudinous harvest.
 
of course, the mic rulse,  place it and listen, shift if needed
