Hey all,

Hopefully this is a noob question. And I'm still on SPLAT (I just read the positive upgrade to Bandlab CW thread and will probably dive into that soon, but meanwhile I have this legacy project).

I have a soundtrack project and went through the work of creating a butt-load of markers where video sequences changed (to cue for changes in the music). Then I changed tempo, not realizing that the markers were not going to stay aligned with that same point in the video.

Is there a way to migrate the markers to the new tempo? (I have changed it back to the tempo I used when I created the markers and have done no work since then.)

Thanks, Chris

I can't remember for markers right this second but for envelopes and midi... Tracks and clips... In the properties there is a real-time setting. I think you set all clips at once but tracks might have to be done one by one. You might also want to do buses.

I'll look at markers in a bit and get back to you if someone else doesn't answer first.

Not 100 % sure, but are you asking for a way to adjust your markers to so they align with the changes in Tempo in your project?

Try looking a the Marker View and just relocate the maker for the location you want.

"Marker View
Open the Markers view with the Views > Markers command, or by pressing ALT+SHIFT+4. The Markers view lets you add, move, rename, or delete Marker (labels) for places in your song. The markers make it easier to move from one point to another."

Right-click on the marker and check the "Lock to SMPTE (Real-World) Time" box.

You can also do this in the Markers view, but you still can't convert properties for all markers simultaneously [edit - there is a way, see scook's post below]. Click on a marker, Type "C," and then check the "Lock to SMPTE" check box.

I thought selecting all markers in the View then clicking the Lock icon sets the "Lock to SMPTE (Real-World) Time" property.

Wow, you're right! I always assumed that Lock worked the same way as Properties. Good to know.

Perfect, that worked like a charm -- thanks scook and all that replied.
