  • Registration Code for Rapture is not Working

I just got a new computer and re-installed all my Cakewalk software.  It will not accept my registration code for Rapture.  I copy/pasted it and triple checked it and input it manually and triple-checked it.  Anyone else have this problem?  Is there any resource at Cakewalk to look into it now?  Thanks.

Run the installer as an administrator.

Also check your downloads page. It's possible that you might have more than one copy of Rapture.

I just loaded up a new machine, and if you have multiple copies of Rapture (or Dimension Pro) in your account due to Producer/Platinum purchases, you will also have multiple codes, but only one set will work.
 
As mentioned above, it is easiest to run the standalone (in C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Vstplugins\Rapture) as administrator and try each of the codes in your account until you hit the one that is accepted.

Thanks for the help.  Just so anyone else who has this problem will know....in my case I was running Rapture as administrator to put the code in.  However, I had not run the installer as administrator when I installed it.  I uninstalled it and re-installed, this time running the installer as administrator and that solved the problem.  Thanks seriousfun, for the solution.
