If it has unlimited tracks it will be a winner for me, once I get used to using PRV instead of Event List for controller events.
Not sure what you mean by CCC. Do you mean that East West Composer Cloud thing?
Anyway thanks for your help Cactus, I will sure miss you if this place folds.

OK I see you found it, I just PM'd you.
CCC is Cakewalk Command Center which is used to download and activate the latest versions. You can also use the offline activation as I directed you to.

I will be here until the lights go out. Then I'll move to Bapu's forum I guess. But we'll see, Sonar's forum may change somehow but anybody if and when takes over would be crazy to close this forum as it is one on many reasons I use Sonar.

"CCC is Command Center"...Damn, I knew that, guess my brain is reeling from the fumes I inhaled fixing my snowblower...

Re: activation: I was confused until I went to My Account/My Products. I was able to upload the activation request there, and I then received a download response, which I then imported into Sonar. (I had to first export an activation request). Complicated, but it worked. Now I can save!

I've been messing around with Sonar Home Studio, and have discovered I can easily add and edit CC events with the "Insert Series of Controllers" command. I just make the CC event the same value for both the beginning and end, and it inserts it. It shows up in PRV as a shaded area, which I can edit by using the smart tool and pulling the top up or down as desired. Best of all, I can use this command in Staff view or Track view, and of course in PRV. I think once I get used to it, it will be easier than the typing I've been doing in Event List. It's also easier on the eyes than all that text in Event List.

Also, SHS found and inserted Vintage Channel, LP 64 EQ and LP 64 Multiband Compressor, so it appears all plugins I use are available. Amazing. Still, I greatly regret not having upgraded to at least Artist while it was still possible, or even Producer, as that would get me updated versions of some of the plugs. If somehow Sonar survives, I will definitely do so. Here's hoping!

Hi everyone, not trying to hijack, but curious if any of the Pro channel modules would be available anywhere else, any time?

The answer to this is no.
They are "just" vst's in a different shell.
All the best.

They have Sonar full version here in Oz for 90 bucks in Allans Music Melbourne. I saw it a couple of weeks ago. Their a bit dodgy the store. Probably trying to cash in on the downfall and hope customers don't know. It's Oz, people here can be pretty obtuse - she'll be right cobber lol.

Who in Oz says cobber nowadays? LOL I guess a visitor and you calling us obtuse. LOL
It is not listed on their site! Unless you work there and can hook us up a non dodgey deal!

HMMM...I don't like a deal like this that takes me to my product page. Who else is it taking to my product page with me?
Guess it's just my suspicious nature.

I do not see why CW would be giving this away at a time like this?
Not trying to bum anyone out just curious to me why no one else thinks this is weird?
