Who in Oz says cobber nowadays? LOL I guess a visitor and you calling us obtuse. LOL
It is not listed on their site! Unless you work there and can hook us up a non dodgey deal!

Sorry, I don't work there, they wouldn't employ me...I know too much about sound and audio production, and wouldn't be compliant enough to sell overpriced and unneeded crap ;). I'd tell customers to not bother buying anything else, but a DAW, not Sonar these unfortunately, a good interface and headphones...then go away and learn music theory and literacy, oh and get Presonus Notion...this is all you need these days, oops and some tasty plugs. Everything else is now obsolete :). So long as you know theory and audio engineering/production...you can compose anything! Beethoven to The Beatles and the quality will be studio grade and releasable. No one will believe me though.

And yes no one says cobber any more, well maybe somewhere in the outback...probably where Peter Falconio is buried ;). Oz is sleepwalking to a disaster...hence my obtuse crack.

Stratman..You are first taken to a Cakewalk web page were you can chose to enter the redemption code. So why do you find it weird? Your on a trusted Cakewalk site not some crazy unknown web site.
What I did was I logged out of Cakewalk ( this forum etc) and then when I entered the redemption code  the Cakewalk page asked me to log in or create a new account.  So used a second log in I had because I already had HS attached to my main account. The second log in had no products and I had nothing to loose if something went sideways. So anyone can do the same if they think somethings fishy, Just create a new Cakewalk account. This deal is just one of those almost to good to be true deals. Not sure if it is still running. It was a fluke that I just happen to see this mentioned by somebody in the Cakewalk announcement thread.

Thanks so much for the directions above. I was able to DL Home Studio and export tracks from a bunch of old songs.
Best wishes,
Chuck

Probably the same people who wear hats with dangling corks. I've been here for 7 years and not seen one yet.

Somewhat off topic, but you know hoe to cook a Galah?
Throw onto to hot stone in a fireplace, and cook until the stone turns soft.

I have Sonar Producer 8.3 (and 7,5,3) and it wasn't working with my new audio interface.
I'm not sure what just happened:

+ Last night I installed Sonar Artist demo to if it would work with the new interface. I tried to buy it today and realised the shop was closed and found this thread.
+ I followed the link to The Software shop above, followed the instructions and have Big Fish Audio Loop Content, Rapture Session, and SONAR Home Studio are added to My Products.
+ I tried an offline activation for Artist and now it's out of demo and Membership: Valid through 2018-04-02 - Status Monthly. I can now save projects.
+ Installing and offline activation for Home Studio and it's owned but it does say valid through 2019-03-03

I can work on my new project so I'm temporarily happy.
