hey guys.
 
my midi keyboard is dropping out (no sound) after about 15 min. every time i start up my sonar 8.0.
when i close and reopen the sonar it works for another 15 min. and so on... i have not made any changes on anything (sonar , laptop, midi keyboard or cables) or downloaded any plugins or anything prior to this issue. any idea what might cause it?

When you say dropping out, what do you mean?
Does it stop sending midi data, or do you have it sending audio?
 
USB or MIDI?
What kind of interface?

If it's USB, then disable power management on your USB root hubs

it stops sending the midi sound. i use usb cable, interface is roland sd-50 which also double up as a soundbox. it all worked before, i haven't changed a thing that i can think of.

What have you tried so far?

nothing. but a couple of members on the taxi forum advised me yo replug my cable, or get a new one. i will try a little later.

Try the disabling of the USB power management....
