What is the future of the lifetime upgrades for sonar platinum if any

Try reading any one of multiple threads right in front of you which discuss this very issue.

Better yet read the sticky meng put up. Explains it quite well as it stands.

I think he needs to modify the title to include "Read this first" so these topics can be stopped before they litter the forum.

I'm for free exchange of idea's but sometimes emotion make some a little uncertain as to whether they should post or search and read.

So it looks to me like lifetime updates are a thing of the past, but crossgrading to the new product will be a freebie.
