Here is one that I pulled out of my old working files and fixed up a bit.  It is done in kind of a beatnik bop style that I loved as a wee bit of a child.  You know  -- great songs like Do You Promise (Beatnik Wedding) by the Honkers, Mama's Place by Bing Day, and A Beatnik Story by the Expressos.  All great stuff.

Anyway, it is done in a talking style and there is a moral to the story.  I hope that it gives you a bit of a chuckle.

As always comments and suggestions will be appreciated.
Thanks.

Needs Maynard G. Krebs on the bongos, but otherwise it's real hip man.

That was a cool beat to the song.  I think the talking vocal worked well here.  I enjoyed the lyrics.

One of your best, Freddy. Your voice is perfect for this talking  hipster style of song.

Thank you Reece!  Your comments are very much appreciated.

Hey Wayfarer.  I tried to get Maynard G. to handle the skins but his alter ego (Bob Denver) was called home.  You don't play bongos do you?  Thanks for diggin' on the sounds and thanks for the kind comments Daddy-O.

Hi Doug.  I am very glad that you like this number.  It was kind of fun to do.  I appreciate your listening and taking the time to comment.

Hey Bapu.  Much gratitude for diggin' on this --- I'm humbled man!

Thanks Bjorn.  I appreciate your listening and thanks for the kind words.

Groovy man...   That was quite the fun song.    Oh, and I just might have that "reaal looooove" line stuck in my head for a while.

Have you posted this one before Freddy? I'm sure I already heard this.

I loved this Freddy! Nice lazy beat. I totally dug the spoken word approach on the vocals with the harmonies in the background. Nice job man!
