I like it, but I'm hating those out-of-sync drum fills.

cool grove with this and as always you're masterful with the lyrics.  I think too much so my songs are less relatable.

Hey Steve.  I'm very glad that you liked it!!!  I am like really stoked that you bent an ear and commented.  Thank you.

Hi Daryl.  No, I haven't posted this song before but I have done some "talkin'" types of songs before.  I appreciate you listening and commenting.  Thanks.

Thanks for the kind words Bob.  I very much appreciate it.

Hi Kev.  I use WAV loops, from a number of sources, for the drums in my stuff.  I was looking for bongos (in keeping with the theme and ambiance) but couldn't find any that would fit.  Sooo, I had to go with traps.  I tried finding something that would complement the bass in this song (since in MHO the bass carries this song).  Oh well, I tried.
Thanks for comments and listening.

Hey Dave.  Thanks for the kind words!!  I appreciate your taking the time to listen and comment.

Hello Jesse.  Nah, I'm not stretching out  ---  it is --- that every once in a while I get a wild hair.  To paraphrase lyrics in a John Lee Hooker song  ... it's in me and it's gotta get out.

Nice one Freddy, you do that spoken-delivery style really well. The drums could use some swing, especially the fills. Nice guitar work!

Thank you Wookiee.  I think that is the first time that I have ever gotten a .

Thanks for the comments Jamesg.  I'll have to go back and look at the drums again.  Your suggestion might also address that Kev had above.

Hi Freddy
Your guitars had a nice Chicago Electric Blues Sound ...the kind of thing you would hear listening to Willie Dixon or many of the other musicians and band leaders from that musical era and genre .
Your speaking voice had a nice pleasant Laid Back thing going on ..
Also your tune was loose in most of the right places and even in some of the wrong places ....
In any event , I enjoyed that element of your songs delivery ...

all the best,

Kenny
