I'm always reminded of Leonard Cohen when I hear your songs Bjorn - a good thing in my book.
I would love to hear a simple bass riff in this one. Low end is a bit lacking.

I used Izotope Nectar on the vocal track and tweaked one of the presets.
It seemed like the vocal was too loud so I toned it down a bit. Maybe too much I guess.

Thanks for the comment and suggestion.  I really like doing bass tracks so I'm not sure why I left it out of this one. Definitely needs it.

Other than a bass line, for me this song has a classic feel.  Props for being able to successfully use "that women done me wrong" - it sounds right and doesn't come across at all cliche.   I'd say your focus on the song rather than the technique is working.
