in my old sonar 7 there was a reverse cymbal note in the soft-synth TTS.  i am trying to recreate that in sonar professional but can't find an option.  anybody know if this exists?  i believe i just loaded the EFX segment of drums in the TTS drop down.  play a note on my midi keyboard and i got the reverse cymbal sound.

You can always just record a normal forward playing cymbal crash and bounce it down as audio ... then retrograde that audio clip to get your backwards cymbal. This is the way I achieved it in the past and got really nice results.

thank you.  i realized there were other ways to do it.  but i loved the simplicity of the sound efx in the earlier soft synth.  this journey has led me to the new realization that none of the sound efx loaded with the cakewalk sound center when i upgraded to sonar professional.  i have reinstalled. but they aren't there.  clearly i am missing a step.  thanks for your tip.  but, now i'm off to find where all my sound efx went!

TTS-1 has it under Preset > Percussive > 120 Reverse Cym.
