Trite and done but VH "You really got me".

I don't think I've ever heard that done badly. One of those songs that just seems to work on whatever level.

The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald by Brian Burns.
One of the neat things about this version is he names all of the men who were lost on the ship. Song runs over 8 minutes long.

Something that I would never have heard if not for asking this question, which was the reason for asking it. My only gripe was that whoever compiled the "video" didn't put the names in the same order as they were called. Would have been way more effective if they had been synced to the music.

Good call

Much prefer the Unleashed era rendition rather than the lazy power ballad version they did for a while.

This is really great.  I haven't listened to alot of judas priest, but this is amazing.

Mother Nature's Son cover by John Denver off the Rocky Mountain High album

Increasing the tempo and the wall of guitars song production makes the cover much more joyful than the intimate original

Many originals have been almost totally eclipsed by the covers:

I prefer the original recording, but it's always interesting to see it performed like this - really shows off the individual parts that might not be noticed when just listening.
