I liked the old version, but I like this one too.

Was that supposed to be "They're"? (Not being picky. I just thought you might want to know about a typo if that's what it is.)

Nice...   After a brief listen to the first version, personally I think this is so much better.   The mix compliments the song and arrangement so that nothing jumps out, rather it allows the lyrics/vocals to shine.  IMO, for a song like this that is the single most important thing.

I didn't hear the first version Steve, but this is excellent. Just the sort of slow-building production I like, and the song and lyrics are really strong. You're getting better all the time.
