Hi. The simple answer is yes.
You can indeed install SONAR on your new PC.
All the best.

Go to your Cakewalk account, and download from there.

If you prefer not to use the command center, the installers are in your account.

If you have not already downloaded the installers, now would be a good time to do so. If you used the Command Center to install initially, the installers are already on your HD in the download area. Make backups of the installers. For the products listed in the Command Center, the installers in the Command Center download area are the same as the installers in your account so you do not need both.

On the new machine, you may run the installers manually or copy them into the Command Center download area to run them from inside the Command Center.

By default the Command Center download area is "C:\ProgramData\Cakewalk\Command Center\Downloads"
The path may be changed in the Command Center setup paths tab. Click the gear in the upper right of the Command Center to enter setup.

IIRC, these are the last installers.

This topic has been gone over a zillion times so if you read threads from back in November you see the same answer over and over.
Until they pull the plug on the server it is business as usual. There is nobody who can answer the question of when that will happen.
Having the software on a CD won't help you as at this point Sonar needs the servers to be activated.

Your best back up plan is to download all your products and serial numbers from your "MY Products" page.
And install and activate everything on a computer that will run for 10 years.

So i downloaded the setup files onto my other(home)computer just to see if it will work...i tried running both setup files to install..the original setup file and the latest ..there are 2 setup files in my folder...both installed sonar platinum but they both installed "demo" version..i did not install command center, the reason i did not is because..if and when i want to install on my newer comp(which i have not purchased yet).im worried command center will be no longer active...i should also add my computer in not connected to internet at the time i tried to install..idk if this matters..the set up files i have are ver:1.0.0.39 and ver:1.0.0.56...
