Plus...rant on...Why oh why did they change "clone track" to "duplicate track" and, worse, make its default state to NOT duplicate the "events".  That is just crazy.  If it ain't broke...they'll break it.
 

Right click on the Duplicate button to change its default state.

Im way too lazy a sumb**ch to have to search for somethin I already been doing for twenty years.  My point is that...I don't believe there was a caterwhaulin outcry that the "clone track" feature just had to be changed or 90% of Sonar users were gonna revolt.  Or did I miss somethin while I was asleep?
 

In away this is why I am relieved that Sonar won't possibly ever be updated again.. I might just have time to figure everything out without them screwing it up again with an update :}

I’m simply failing to understand how this makes things more difficult.
It doesn’t, in fact it makes things easier.
Your wish is granted sonar is now in a vacuum and will no longer be updated.
My point was that sometimes a quick google search is faster than waiting for someone to spoon feed you answers here.

Sometimes it’s not what 90% of users want it’s about making a better product and as combersome as an “Clone track” button might seem, nothing changed except now it’s easier to clone a track/multiple tracks

But don’t let me preventing you from complaining.

I really would love to know what causes this problem with hidden tracks unhiding themselves. It's weird because it seems to affect multiple projects simultaneously. I have a 150+ track project with about 50 tracks hidden and every now and then Sonar will unhide all of those tracks - it takes me ages to hide them all again because I have to go through the whole project and make the "hidden/not hidden" decision for every track. 
 
It hasn't happened in a few weeks but last night it happened (grrr), then right after I'd finished re-hiding everything I opened another project in which this has never happened, and all of the hidden tracks in that project were unhidden too. Makes me wonder if it's a bug which happens on a global scale and not "per project." Between stuff like this and having to reload presets for all of my EQ's 3 or 4 times during a session, it's a wonder I'm making any progress at all.

Its possibly one of the most useful functions I've added in my workflow.
I use all the time. And now I don't need to go into that menu anymore either (along with check/uncheck boxes for Clone tracks properties).
