I heard the news today. Sonar is being discontinued. Please tell me this is not true!

What do y'all recommend as a replacement for Sonar?

And, what is the level of compatibility between Sonar files & other programs?

All DAWs use proprietary file formats.
 
Check the software area for discussions about other DAWs. Open a thread there if you need recommendations for an alternative to SONAR.
