I just upgraded to X2 and now the vertical scrolling activity bar is missing in track view. Not sure what that line is called but am sure there is a switch to re-establish it. Any help would be appreciated.

The Now Time?  

Yes.

Do you see it initially, but then it scrolls out of view when you hit play.  Or is it just never there?

It is never there.

It shows up in the navigator window but not the track view.

Does the tracks pane scroll when it get's to the far right, and does it relocate in the Navigator when you click the Time Ruler?  (in other words, is it just invisible, or is it not there at all)

track pane scrolls when it gets to the right. I believe it will relocate when I click the time ruler. Sounds like it is invisible.

And you are on Win7, correct? have you done any system "optimizations" or anything that may have disabled Windows graphic functionality?

If not, I think the best bet may be to call our support line tomorrow morning. I can't think of a cause for this right now, and they'll be able to check some stuff with you in real time.

I've filled a problem report on missing Now Time recently.

Here's how to make it missing.

- undock a windows, say the Console. Maximize it, covering it over main X2 windows.

- Ctrl-S (save).

- Close, reopen X2 and the project.

- Move the Console windows away, Now Time is missing.
