@Keni, the original OP problem was solved. But some of us experienced random Now Time missing. I discovered a way to make Now Time missing (due to one of my X1 project was saved with the Console window on top), but not sure if it's related to the OP.

At any rate, if your Now Time Line disappears, the solution seems to be re-docking or re-sizing any window or even changing to another screenset to get it back. AND... don't save your project with a maximized view over the main view.

Agreed. I don't usually save the project that way. Opening an existing X1 project that happens to be saved this way enables reproducing the steps. In X1, this is not a problem.


Just wanted Cake to be aware, it could be some drawing code that may help solved other random Now Time missing condition.

If it's regarding my problem report - I've got a reply,   "Submitted to Development".

This happens to me on a semi-regular basis.  PITA.  Hope it's resolved soon.

strangely ive been on win8 all week and this hasn't happened once.

I find that closing and opening the track inspector (press I twice) brings it back.

Why does this thread show SOLVED?

Old thread, but should not be marked as SOLVED.  This is a current bug.  Just happened to me, and happens randomly when switching back to track view from piano roll.
