A few months back, one of our forumites offered to make some overlays for the x-touch that had Sonar commands mapped.  
 
Who was that?  Is it still available?  I tried contacting but I must have missed any response.

I've noticed the X Touch has become popular with photo editing as a controller. Wonder what else you can use it for.

I tried to reach him when he first announced the overlays.  

I bought an x-touch recently, and made my own template using MS Publisher. (The 8 function keys are programmable so I picked 4 views and 4 tools, which I may change at some point). The rest of the buttons are hard coded to mirror the comparable Mackie MCU functions. I can send you a PDF of the template if you PM me. I printed it on photo paper, but I also did a test run on normal paper and it worked fine. A bit tedious cutting out the holes with an x-acto knife, but I'm happy with the end product.

I have it somewhere at home.  I'll see if I can dig it out and pm you if you don't get any joy.

see my posts on Nov. 27 and Nov. 30, 2016....   it's a way of using White On Black labeler tape with no need to cut out holes...              search for newdreamstudio or search for X-Touch Lexan overlay and look at those dates... the second one points to images on Imgur.

Hey everyone,
Just playing around at my sign shop and created a lay-over vinyl template for the X-Touch.  No adhesive, it just lays over the area that Sonar (and other DAWs) don't have the same functions.  the hole for the buttons are cut out so i lays really nice and tight on the X-Touch.  I can print anything on it, any colors, labels, etc.  I'm thinking of making a few bucks on the side if anyone would be interested.  Don't have any thought of pricing though. Just a thought.
