Is there a way to get all the VST plugins, Lexicon reverb, realSpace etc from my earlier versions of Sonar. My old computer is dying and I installed just Sonar Producer on the new computer. So now I'm missing all the extras from V 3 - now.

Is there a way to get them without installing every version?

Thx, M.

Hi. You have to use the discs to get the content you want.
But use the advanced install option, and choose the plugins you want. No need to install every version of SONAR.
The only plugins that requires a minimal installation of SONAR is R-Mix, IIRC.
Hope it helps.
All the best.

Thanks for the correction, Steve
I didn't have any of those.
All the best.

I second that. Do a custom install from the original cdrom and install fx only. Be warned though, you may overwrite more recent fx with the older fx, so be sure to reinstall the newer versions after to make sure you have the most recent version.
I've installed older versions on top of newer versions of Sonar and encountered some conflicts if done in the wrong order.
cakewalk themselves always suggest installing each version in order to avoid these problems.
Anyone remember the classic reverbs and surround sound mixing of previous producer versions? I used to love those plugins.

This situation can be avoided by unchecking everything in the Sonar advanced installer, then checking only the specific missing plugin that you are trying to install.  Nothing extra will get overwritten this way.  It will only install what you have selected.
