I understand that Rack does not transmit MIDI Steve.

Here is what I have set up.
1. One Audio Track with VCV Bridge in the FX Bin
2. One Aux track fed by the Above Audio Track
3. One MIDI Track

When I try and select a destination for the MIDI track the only output option is my PreSonus MIDI Device.

Is is possible you are running the old VCV Bridge? MIDI was added in 0.6.1. The original Bridge was audio only.

Doubtful I did update perhaps I will try another install of 0.6.1

If it scanned as an instrument it is 0.6.1. Do not change it to an effect. Also, do not use the FX Chain for port 1. Use the actual plug-in. The FX Chain interferes with MIDI for this plug-in. I use the FX Chain for port 2+ because the port setting is not persistent.

Thanks again Steve,

Any changes to this Steve as there are now two versions of Bridge and Bridge FX.  I am still not seeing bridge as an option for MIDI output or Audio input.

Thanks

I use the synth version. It works better in CbB for me.

Um bit strange did a reset all and re-scan I now have two instances of VCV Bridge under VST FX no sign of it under VSTi's.

On checking in the registry the one call VCV-Bridge.dll the isSynth key set to 1 and the one called VCV-Bridge-FX.dll the isSynth key is set to 0.  As I would expect.  (S-Plat not tried CbB yet)
