By "editor" here, by the way, it's mostly a job of proof-reading and normalizing to certain standards (e.g., "O.k." becomes "OK" or "2 LFOs" becomes "two LFOs").  Most of the writers send me pristine copy in terms of grammar and spelling (Dave T.'s submissions are super-easy to proof).  Per mostly writes very clean copy as well, unless he's late and sleep deprived.  Several of our writers for whom English is a second language ... well, that's another story entirely.
